Knots Undone

My craft swap piece for my friend and BKP (best kendo partner), J. This was done in April but not given until May, so I’m sharing it with you now. 

The characters in blue give the name of our school.

Sampler #14 - Keep Reaching, Little Bird. one of my very favorite pieces so far — from last week.

Instead of stitching diligently last night, adventures were had on the river city’s women-only bicycle night. I can’t remember the last time I smiled so much. 

I’m the second from the left. 

Sampler #13 - umbrella and detail. There was a lot of rain that week. 

Sampler #12 - starfish. Continuing with the undersea theme in bright, happy colors. Pleased with the pictures on this one. 

Sampler #11 - fishes. Stitched up on a whim with a sudden affection for this fabric. 

Sampler #10 - cherry blossoms. So pleased with the final result despite the tiny piece of fabric and the pulls around the fourth blossom.
